Guy Mazzola

Founder, President

Guy Mazzola is the President of the AMEC Companies.  He founded AMEC while studying Finance at Fairfield University in 2000.  His vision was to build a multi-faceted company that could not only manage the entire construction process, but could also self-perform the most difficult and riskiest parts of a project. This ability would allow for better schedule and cost controls.  Over 17 years later, his vision is reality.  Mr. Mazzola is committed to improving the company's internal processes and systems while promoting the company's continued growth. He brings a synergetic approach to running the company. This philosophy maximizes the organization's resources and expertise on projects.  His leadership is based on a strong family culture philosophy that places great value on both external and internal relationships. Mr. Mazzola's continued commitment to his company and clients is to ensure the highest standards on safety, ethics and core values.

Michelle Mazzola

Vice President

Michelle Mazzola began her career at the AMEC Companies over 10 years ago. She has been instrumental in AMEC's growth by running multiple departments over the years including Logistics, Human Resources and Sales and Marketing. Mrs. Mazzola believes in matching AMEC's continued external growth in sales with internal growth in process, structure and talented people. She has applied her unique ability to determine the right structure, software and technology for each department along the way. Today as the Vice President of the AMEC Companies, Michelle leads the Sales, Marketing and Recruiting teams as well as handles the firms' larger legal matters.

David Stein

Chief Financial Officer

Having joined the AMEC Companies over 5 years ago, David Stein, has brought with him over 30 years of experience in the Construction Management Field. Prior to joining AMEC, he spent 23 years at Kreisler Borg Florman of NY, leading their finance and accounting team. At KBF he was a part of projects in NYC in excess of $500M. A little over 5 years ago David joined AMEC after KBF was acquired by Gilbane Building. Today as CFO of the AMEC Companies, Mr. Stein provides the Leadership team with key financial indicators and also provides higher level consult for the project management teams. David also manages the Companies insurance, bonding and banking relationships.

Angelo Mazzola

Our General Superintendent, Angelo Mazzola has over 20 years of experience in the construction field.  Having the technical knowledge and people skills to bring together a team, Angelo excels at leading and managing his team of Superintendents, Foreman, Equipment Operators and Laborers.

Bob Stevens

After the acquisition of the Thomason-Stevens companies, Bob has come on board at AMEC as the Director of Construction of our Building Division.  With over 30 years of experience in the industry and an owner for some 20 years, Bob has built projects throughout the nation.

Ivelisse D’Antonio

As the Accounts Payable Manager at AMEC, Ivelisse handles all the major day to day payables and reporting.  Directly working with the Controller and CFO, she is versed in all the major aspects of the Finance & Accounting Department.

Arnie Johnson

From working with the coast guard and other agencies to build sea walls while not disturbing marine life, to complicated curb to curb, deep excavations, from remediation projects to an award-winning open architecture center for exploration of nature and the arts project on 80 acres of farmland, Arne builds his projects with a smile.

Armando Imbrogno 

Armando is a highly accomplished Controller with over 15 years of progressive team building and management experience.  With a background in systems implementations, conversions, internal auditing and general accounting, Armando is the “Go-To Guy” for all things Accounting.

Eddie Howard

Eddie’s career as a Superintendent spans some 10 years in the NY/CT area with 5 years at AMEC.  From preconstruction through punch list items, Eddie has tackled distribution centers, schools, apartments, and infrastructure projects over the years.

Tom Forcier

Having worked over 20 years in Operations Management and Safety, Tom has taught hundreds of people the importance of safety procedures and policies.  Encouraging others to follow safety protocols and educating them is one of Tom’s passions.

Agron Gelevic

As a Project Accountant at AMEC, Agron is instrumental in the financial analysis and success of his projects.  As part of a recent team chosen by AMEC to survey new technologies and their impact on the Finance & Accounting Department, Agron is a leader of innovative thinking.

Our safety methods and plans are comprehensive and tailored to fit the requirements and needs of each job. Our Safety Manager along with our Project Teams work together every day to evaluate and train staff and subcontractors on proper safety protocol.  AMEC's goal is to mitigate project risk and ensure the execution of safe practices.
